“SINGER ZANGERLE” have known each other for a long time. You can hear that in their voice. However, the long-time collaborators in numerous bands (Memplex, Sweet & Lovely...) only performed as a duo in 2019. In an attempt to explore the possibilities of the double bass/saxophone format, they have created a program that combines free improvisation with compositions. The music is nourished by lyrical, minimalist and static sounds. Surprising twists and turns ensure that the melancholy does not become too great.
