“Floral and bloody, cosmic and comical”—that’s how one might sum up the musical stories that Milleflör tell in German, English, and Viennese dialect, often characterized by a penchant for the absurd, paired with profound poetry. The sisters have been making music together for about 26 years, and have been performing as a duo since 2019. This collaboration has produced pieces about culinary journeys into space, grotesquely sensual breakfasts, murderous cucumber salad, or simply the essence of music itself…
Since 2025, they have also been performing as the “Milleflör Trio” with their brother Linus Geißelbrecht on double bass.
In 2026, their debut live album, “Blaubeerblut,” was released by Austrian Composers.
