TRÍADE brings together Alegre Corrêa (Brazil/Austria), Luna Paz (Chile), and Gabriela Corrêa (Austria/Brazil) to form an ensemble where diverse cultural roots, generations, and musical experiences converge.
Their music spans Latin American folklore, Brazilian popular music (MPB), jazz, the Viennese lied tradition, and classical influences. Original compositions and reinterpretations blend these elements into a unique musical language—virtuosic and rich in improvisation, yet intimate and immediate.
Grammy Award winner Alegre Corrêa embodies the cultural dialogue that TRÍADE stands for. After more than two decades of artistic activity in Austria and numerous international encounters, he now lives in Brazil again. His music combines the rhythmic and melodic diversity of his homeland with the experiences of European jazz and concert culture—a fusion that has become the foundation of the ensemble. With her expressive voice, Luna Paz brings the musical colors of Chile and Latin America to the ensemble, blending jazz, soul, and folk rhythms. Gabriela Corrêa, who grew up in Vienna, combines her Brazilian roots with her Austrian influences and, through her poetic lyrics, lends the project a personal perspective on themes such as identity and belonging.
TRÍADE thrives on encounters: between generations, continents, and musical traditions. Rather than being homogenized, diverse life stories enter into an open dialogue. From this interplay emerges music that leaves room for improvisation, personal expression, and moments of surprise.
TRÍADE—three life stories, three cultural perspectives, one shared musical language. Brazil, Chile, and Austria are not merely places of origin, but living musical spaces.
