Adama Dicko – Sahel Melodies
A musical collective that celebrates the melodies, stories, and folklore of the nomadic peoples of the vast Sahel region of West Africa. Sahel Melodies is a movement of unity, resilience, and shared narratives. As in its original cultural context, it is music for everyone and with everyone – it embraces every listener, regardless of background, with melodies and stories that transcend boundaries. The collective carries on this spirit and creates a nomad-inspired collaboration across cultures, languages, and generations – a soundscape that belongs to everyone.

Afel Bocoum – The Return of the Messenger
Acclaimed Malian singer and guitarist Afel Bocoum is one of the last representatives of a groundbreaking generation of African musicians who were the first to combine their own traditional music with the new sounds that came from around the world during the 20th century. Bocoum hails from Niafunké in Mali's Timbuktu region, an area that lies
within the cultural riches and political tensions between the northern and southern parts of the country. He toured for decades with desert blues pioneer Ali Farka Touré and also recorded with him. In September 2020, he released his latest studio album, Lindé, on World Circuit Records. Damon Albarn, who served as executive producer of the album alongside Nick Gold of World Circuit, said, “Afel's voice is one of Mali's treasures, and this record is a gift to us all.”
