For over twenty years, ARMENIAN SPIRIT has stood for the unmistakable musical cosmos of pianist and composer Karen Asatrian. Jazz, Armenian musical culture, and improvisational freedom come together in an international ensemble. Musicians from Armenia, Iraq, Uruguay, Croatia, and Austria come together to form a multi-layered soundscape characterized by mutual trust, cultural exchange, and long-standing collaboration.

The project combines personal musical signature with collective creativity and sees itself as a living example of cultural diversity in action. The concert evenings are characterized by high artistic quality, intense communication, and a palpable joy of playing.
