February 27 and 28, 2026, marks the 16th anniversary of the Vienna Fingerstyle Festival.

We are delighted that one of Europe's most renowned jazz clubs, Porgy & Bess, is once again providing its stage for our unique celebration of acoustic guitar music. Internationally renowned stars and audience favorites from previous years will enchant visitors with their guitar sounds during two extraordinary concert evenings.

The Vienna Fingerstyle Festival once again offers Austrian and international artists a platform to present this sophisticated guitar technique to interested listeners. The mix of well-known guitar virtuosos and up-and-coming talents has been a hallmark of the festival for years and is not only worth seeing and hearing for die-hard guitar fans.

On the second day of the festival, Thomas Leeb, Sophie Chassée, and Simon Wahl will captivate the audience. German YouTube star Sophie Chassée and the groove- and melody-driven Thomas Leeb are both guaranteed to deliver a brilliant and varied evening. Simon Wahl will open Saturday's program. The Bonn-born musician, who now lives in Vienna, will round off the second day of the festival with his groovy original compositions and fingerstyle arrangements, guaranteeing both entertaining and sophisticated entertainment.
