February 27 and 28, 2026, marks the 16th anniversary of the Vienna Fingerstyle Festival.

We are delighted that one of Europe's most renowned jazz clubs, Porgy & Bess, is once again providing its stage for our unique celebration of acoustic guitar music. Internationally renowned stars and audience favorites from previous years will enchant visitors with their guitar sounds during two extraordinary concert evenings.

The Vienna Fingerstyle Festival once again offers Austrian and international artists a platform to present this sophisticated guitar technique to interested listeners. The mix of well-known guitar virtuosos and up-and-coming talents has been a hallmark of the festival for years and is not only worth seeing and hearing for die-hard guitar fans.

Adam Rafferty (US), Christian Zack (DE), and Crossing Strings (AT) will open the festival on Friday evening. Both Christian Zack, who hails from Germany, and Adam Rafferty, who is world-famous thanks to YouTube and various social media platforms, are two established figures on the guitar scene whose captivating performances regularly win the hearts of audiences both at home and abroad. Friday will be opened by Crossing Strings, consisting of Carina Maria Linder and Markus Schlesinger, who will kick off the 16th edition of the Vienna Fingerstyle Festival with a varied mix of their old and new programs.
