• Invisible Ink - das sind äußerste Spielfreude, improvisatorische Spontanität und Furchtlosigkeit gegenüber stilistischen Barrieren verpackt in Form dieses neuen Trios. Bestehend aus Dennis Brandner (Saxophon), Philipp Kienberger (Kontrabass) und Hubert Bründlmayer (Schlagzeug, Percussion) lotet Invisible Ink die Möglichkeiten dieses historisch wichtigen Bandformats aus, um die Zuhörerschaft abwechselnd zu betören, zu überraschen, und letztlich, vollends in den Facettenreichtum ihrer Kompositionen eintauchen zu lassen.
Inspiration schöpfen die drei Musiker aus den Musiken dieser Welt sowie ihren Lebensmittelpunkten in New York und Wien. Die Rastlosigkeit des 21. Jahrhunderts treibt Virtuosität und Kraft in die Stücke, die nun auch auf dem Album “Invisible Ink - Live at Radiokulturhaus Vienna” eingefangen sind. Als wäre die Luftbrücke zwischen den beiden Metropolen hörbar, gibt es Raum für Ideen, die sich mal hektisch laut, mal entspannt besonnen, in jedem Fall aber organisch entwickeln dürfen.
Denn auch im Lärm der Großstädte kann man Momente der Ruhe erfahren. Und so kommen die drei Akteure stets auch selbst ins Staunen, während sie bunte Tonmalereien ausgestattet mit unsichtbarer Tinte in der Luft versprühen.

The three musicians draw their inspiration from the musics of the world and the scenes surrounding them in New York and Vienna. The restlessness of their environments furnishes their pieces with an enthralling virtuosity, which is now also preserved in the form of their first live album Invisible Ink: Live at Radiokulturhaus Vienna.
