Erika Stucky ist eine Jazz-Sängerin, die vor allem auch durch ihre extrovertierten Bühnenshows berühmt geworden ist. Ihre Performance ist wild, schrill, schnell und laut. Die Künstlerin lebte in San Francisco, machte ein Jazz-Gesangsausbildung in Paris und einen Abschluss in Schauspiel am State College San Francisco.
Aufgrund ihrer vielfältigen Begabung gründete Erika Stucky 1985 die A-cappella-Formation The Sophisticrats und verschloss sich seidem nie vor neuen musikalischen Einflüssen. So war sie unter anderem mit der WDR Big Band unterwegs, wirkte an einem Jimi-Hendrix-Projekt mit und scheute sich zusammen mit der Band Roots Of Communication auch nicht für Jodel-Einlagen. Das Leben von Erika Stucky ist so bunt wie ihre Musik.
Das alljährliche Konzert von Erika Stucky „zwischen den Jahren“ hat im P&B Tradition! Diemal zeigt die unberechenbare amerikanisch-schweizerische Performerin „Stucky´s Roadshow“. (Pressetext)
