This year, Porgy & Bess is one of the venues for the 3rd Festival Argentina, this time dedicated to the country's mighty northeastern region, the Litoral Argentino. The Iguazú Falls, dozens of rivers, wetlands and lagoons, lush fauna and flora and a centuries-old fusion of indigenous cultures and European immigrants form the irresistible landscape of the region's music: the Chamamé. Two indispensable artists perform in Vienna and delight an audience that is always based on musical and artistic excellence.
