With our concerts JAZZMED hopes to create a much needed awareness and raise money for Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), the international medical aid organization, which offers support to victims of armed conflicts, natural catastrophes and epidemics in more than 60 countries.

At the same time JAZZMED loves to entertain and share the joy we find in the healing force of music. Playing and listening to music sharpens our perceptions, creates harmonies and frees the energies that help us to be effective in our professions.

JAZZMED consists of a group of physicians who created this musical benefit project to support Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in their life-saving work.The remarkable characteristic of this musical formation is that all its members are also medical specialists practicing in Austria. Since 2015 JAZZMED serves as an Austrian non-profit organization.
