On January 6, 2027, Porgy & Bess will open its doors in the morning to young audiences: Together with Burg Theater actor and musician Nils Strunk, the “Jakob Helling Vienna Jazz Orchestra” will present a concert experience for families with children ages 5–10.
Nils Strunk has become a favorite of Vienna’s theatergoers through productions such as “The Chess Story” and “The Magic Flute—the opera but not the opera.” He will not only host the morning concert but will also perform as a singer. The “Jakob Helling Vienna Jazz Orchestra” will have given its debut concert the evening before and will therefore be in top form. Plus, you can look forward to finding out who the next surprise guest from Vienna’s cultural scene will be!
Look forward to an entertaining program for young and old—one that shows us just how entertaining jazz at the highest level can be!
