This evening is dedicated to the students of the Institute of Popular Music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, who will be taking the stage as performers and as composers/arrangers!
For this occasion, students in Gerd Hermann Ortler’s “Composition and Arrangement” course created works for the ipop Composers Ensemble (performed in the first set) and the big.mdw.band (performed in the second set). These compositions and arrangements span a wide musical spectrum and reflect the creative potential of this young generation of musicians.
