21:00 Ali Angerer's Out of Blue feat. Gerald Preinfalk

"Man claims he was made in God's image. This is altogether possible." (Erik Satie) God must have been a terribly good tuba player because his human likeness, the Upper Austrian tubist Ali Angerer, plays this wonderfully elegant and noble-sounding instrument truly like a god.

"The sea is full of water: This you should understand." (Erik Satie) The "sea full of water" image is easy to understand when you watch this godly tuba player drain his instrument during a thunderous passage. Oh, Ali A. ... humanity needs seas full of water and "God's likenesses" need you!

"The musician is perhaps the most humble of all animals but also the most proud. He was created by the lofty arts to destroy poetry." (Erik Satie) Ali A. is not an animal. He is God's tuba-playing likeness. He doesn't destroy poetry. He is a sensitive tuba/poet from the Upper Austrian "sound cloud." He is an artist and although artists are perhaps the proudest of God's likenesses, Ali A. is humble. He is an exception. This evening you'll experience a "Tuba Mirum" in the groovy mold. Let's get out of blue! RD
