In October P&B paid tribute to Charles Lloyd by hosting a performance of his highly indiosyncratic composition "Forest Flower" and now this month, the famed saxophonist will honor us with a personal appearance. Following on the heels of two other "greats," Betty Carter and Tommy Flanagan, Lloyd will bring us his own brand of intimacy and flair -- two ingredients for a memorable concert -- and prove again (luckily) that big names and small jazz clubs don't have to be mutually exclusive.
