With Some Kind Of - his Debut CD - Joe Valentin provides further support for the thesis, much discussed by our interns, that there are more fantastic guitarists in Vienna than jazz musicians in the entire country to our West. Here, Valentin - a guitarist who often masterfully saunters down the diffuse paths of fusion - also proves to be a true composer, one who has had a lucky hand at choosing players for this quintet.
