This day, so rich in associations, should undoubtedly end with an evening conceived to make angels melt and the stars twinkle, allowing visitors to the jazz club to just sit back und enjoy some easy listening. Klaus Bru -- who has been kept busy running back and forth on the Vienna -Berlin circuit, making Porgy a regular port of call -- will be coming in to coordinate the festivities. On the program: an unbroken stream of sound produced by the Berlin-based Haitian DJ Aari Damas; a solo guitar performance by Bru (ca. 19:00 ); and a trio number with Bru on electronic-sax, Martin Wallner on electronic-bass und Paul Skrepek on reverbs (ca. 21:30 ). The concert will be followed by a party studded with surprises and directed by the DJ Sideways into Laughter. For this special occasion, we'll be opening our doors at 18:00 (!!) and will be inviting our public to partake in a cup of mulled wine (Glühwine), punch and seasonal pastries.
