Threeo, Wiener Neustadt guitarist Gerald Gradwohl's ensemble, has been winning over audiences with their own jazz-rock compositions since 1988. Originally conceived as a "breather band" for stressed-out studio musicians, the trio has since become a staple in the Austrian jazz emporium. It has gained further international recognition through its work with New York saxophonist Rick Margitza, who has also guested with Threeo when he was not under contract with someone like Miles Davis or Steps Ahead.
