	Benjamin Koppel (born 1974) is a Danish saxophone player and composer. He formed his first band at age 15 and has recorded more that 50 albums. Benjamin Koppel performs in large variety of musical constellations in Denmark and abroad, and he is widely acclaimed for his virtuosity and versatility, having received numerous awards. Benjamin Koppel is a member of the Koppel-family – one of the most influential and largest musical families of Denmark. He is the grandson of Danish composer Hermann D. Koppel and the son of musician and composer Anders Koppel. As a soloist and bandleader Benjamin Koppel has performed and recorded with Phil Woods, Daniel Humair, Palle Danielsson, Alex Riel, Miroslav Vitous, Anders Koppel, Randy Brecker, Chano Dominguez, Phil Woods, Charlie Mariano, Portinho, David Sanchez, Sheryl Crow, Kenny Werner and more. Benjamin Koppel is the founder and director of the Danish record label Cowbell Music.
