Few musicians in jazz history have proven more vigorously productive and resourceful than Grammy® award winner DAVID MURRAY who is considered by many as one of the most important and most versatile saxophonists, composers and band leaders in modern jazz. He has perfected an immediately recognizable, unique approach and his very personal handwriting in improvisation - without ever leaving or losing the basics, the traditions and the grounding. Being son of a gospel church organist, he grew up with gospels and spirituals – and recorded 1990 a unique own Spirituals album.

CHANDA RULE is probably one of the most promising hidden gems among modern jazz vocalists. Chanda performs deeply rooted in gospel and jazz, she carries the soul in her heart and touches the audience with the clarity and beauty of her jazz phrasings.

Together they are going to embark for a very personal, intimate presentation of their common roots in both music and beliefs. As a mutual signal to the world of "crossing borders, confidence and open minds" this evening is for sure going to enchant any of our audiences. (Pressetext)
